21st ANNUAL RADAR RUN - POSTPONED
While we were hopeful that winter would show up sometime before President’s Day Weekend, we regret to announce that a decision has been made to postpone the 21st Annual Bent’s Camp Radar Run to February 15, 2025. We have ran this event in below zero weather all the way up to 50 degree temps, but this year there is just not enough ice to hold a Radar Run.
Since we look forward to this weekend each year and we appreciate everyone coming together to support the Frosty Snowmobile Club our community has come together to announce a RAY OF FUN DAY on Saturday, February 17, 2024.
We will kick off the day with a Poker Run to patronize several of our local businesses and raise money for the Frosty Club. Each of the stops listed below will have cards available for participation. The Poker Run will conclude at Bent’s Camp where participants will be dealt 9 cards with a goal of making the best possible five card Poker hand. Entry fee is $20 per hand, and you can purchase as many hands as you’d like. The proceeds collected will be split 50/50 between the Frosty Club and the winning Poker hands. Payout will be split in the following way: 1st Place: 50%. 2nd Place: 30%. 3rd Place: 20% Poker hands will start being dealt at 11 am and the last hand will be dealt at 3 pm.
There will be plenty of space to relax at Bent’s Camp with the outdoor bar and food opening for this event. Raffles to benefit the Club will include gift baskets, gift certificates, fishing equipment, outdoor equipment, and much more. Raffle tickets are available for purchase OR you can take a chance to win FREE raffle tickets by playing some of our games of skill out on the ice!
Inside Bent’s Camp you’ll find our restaurant and bar ready to serve the full menu. Old Pine Road Band starts at 4 pm, playing until they can’t play anymore. Following OPRB, the DJ will kick off the late night party so we can all get our snow dances on!
The following businesses are participating in the Poker Run:
- Dawson's Pier
Although there will be no Radar Run, the Frosty Club and Bent’s Camp hope to see you on Saturday the 17th!
UPDATE: The Town of Land O' Lakes has introduced a one day variance to allow the operation of ATVs and UTVs on Land O' Lakes town roads on Saturday, 2/17! This means you can legally complete the Poker Run on ATV/UTV on town roads including Helen Creek Road!
